February 7, 14, and 21: Academy Museum hosts a stop-motion animation workshop inspired by the film Ponyo. Families create their own animations depicting stories of friendship. February 14-15: Academy Museum offers 30-minute guided tours of the Studio Ghibli PONYO exhibition. Museum educators explore Hayao Miyazaki's artistic style and character designs with visitors of all ages. Tours run at noon, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. Free with general admission.
