Celebrate “The Beautiful Game” with a free day at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, packed with soccer-themed activities, food, and film.
Watch three soccer-related movies screened in 35mm â Bend It Like Beckham at 11am, Shaolin Soccer at 2:30pm, and Offside at 5pm. Play inflatable human foosball in the piazza, grab fruit from a vendor (free for the first 100 servings), and stop by Fanny’s taco stand from noon to 5pm.
Museum galleries are also open for free, including current exhibitions on Jaws, Studio Ghibli’s Ponyo, and the iconic ruby slippers.
