Self-tours are offered on the museum ship, that once was a cargo ship used in World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam War. Open Daily, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission: $3-7.
Interactive tours, such as the kid’s self-guided scavenger hunt, offer an experience of living and serving on the ship. Camp Battleship is an overnight program that includes a STEAM tour, chow on the mess decks, evening entertainment and much more. Their newest tour, Full STEAM Ahead, is two-hours and provides a behind-the-scenes look into the engineering spaces on board, such as the engine room, boiler room, and hospital; the areas that have been off-limits in the past.
Audio tours, exhibits, and flight simulators aboard this historic Navy aircraft carrier that served from 1945-1992. Family overnighter and movie night sleepovers are also offered.
