Celebrate Latinx Heritage Month by exploring alebrijes, fantastical, animal-inspired creatures from Mexican folklore.
Learn about the significance of alebrijes, which are so popular that Mexico City dedicates an entire parade to them every October. Spot them in the Disney animated film Coco, too.
Join family members in creating an alebrije together.

- Family creature-making
- Drop-in, first-come, first-served
All workshops are free with museum admission and are first-come, first-served. Museum admission is free for youth (ages 17 and under) with advance reservation.
