Corky Carroll’s Surf School – Summer Surf Camp
Family-owned business, Corky Carroll’s Surf School, has provided a fun surfing experience for over 27 years.
Campers (ages 5-10+) learn ocean safety and surfing fundamentals in a fun, group setting. Wetsuits and surfboards are provided, plus everyone receives a free t-shirt
Junior Camp (ages 5+)
Designed to help kids gain confidence in the water with 1:1 surfing instruction. Kids learn ocean and wave awareness, maneuvering in and out of water, social activities and beach games.
Surf Camp (ages 8+)
Groms learn to stand up and catch waves with step-by-step instructions and a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio.
Surf Class (ages 10+)
Experienced older kids who know how to surf, have their own equipment, can paddle out by themselves, and want to practice with friends in a supervised setting.
Dates: June 5 – August 25, 2023
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m.– 1 p.m.
Rates: $420 (discounted for July 4th week)
Corky Carroll’s summer surf camp lineup has something for every age and skill level. Pick the camp that’s right for your family and watch your kid’s surfing evolve from beginner to ripper.
Located at Bolsa Chica State Beach, the camp provides conditions for a safer, easier, and more enjoyable way to learn to surf. The consistent beach break (no rocks) has smaller wave sizes compared to other Southern California surf breaks.
