Bring the whole family for an afternoon of music, creativity, and hands-on fun with Long Beach Symphony. This festive event features Sergei Prokofiev’s beloved Peter and the Wolf, where orchestra instruments come to life to tell a playful story of courage and adventure—perfect for children and first-time concertgoers.
Led by Music Director Eckart Preu, the 50-minute interactive performance invites young audiences to discover the sights and sounds of the orchestra in an engaging, kid-friendly setting.
Before and after the concert, families can enjoy a variety of activities on the plaza, including an instrument petting zoo, arts and crafts, games, and opportunities to meet musicians. Food trucks will be available.
Schedule:
- Activities: 1–3pm & 4–5pm
- Concert: 3–4pm
