April 11-12: Imaginology is a free family event that focuses on STEAM education featuring unique experiences for all ages including makeshops, demonstrations, competitions, hands-on activities and entertainment, as well as food and fun. FREE
OC Japan Fair | OC Fair & Event Center, Costa Mesa
April 3–5: Celebrate Japanese culture at one of the largest Japanese cultural festivals in Southern California. Watch live performances, shop vendors, try traditional crafts like shodo and kimono dressing, and taste Japanese food from vendors across Japan and the US. There's also a cosplay show, tuna cutting show, and anime goods vendors to explore.
Overland Expo SoCal | OC Fair & Event Center, Costa Mesa
March 14–15: Explore a massive overlanding expo with 300+ gear exhibitors, adventure travel classes, vehicle demos, and a kids RC driving course.
Pacific Coast Sportfishing Show | OC Fair & Event Center, Costa Mesa
March 5-8: Sportfishing show with 7 halls of fresh/salt water fish tackle, boats, travel, and more. Activities for kids include, trout fishing ponds, wildlife education, interactive activities, fish printing, and get up close to critters and reptiles.
Repticon | OC Fair & Event Center, Costa Mesa
February 21–22: Repticon Costa Mesa brings a two-day reptile and exotic animal expo to the OC Fair & Event Center. See live animals from around the world and shop pets and pet products directly from expert vendors.
Great Train Show & World’s Greatest Hobby | OC Fair & Event Center, Costa Mesa
February 14-15: OC Fair & Event Center hosts the Great Train Show featuring 300+ vendor tables, 13+ operating model railroad displays in multiple scales, riding train, Thomas the Tank Engine bounce house, games, free workshops, and test track. Online tickets $13 Saturday (good both days), $12 Sunday. Kids 11 and under free.
Dinosaur Adventure | OC Fair & Event Center, Costa Mesa
February 14-15: OC Fair & Event Center hosts Dinosaur Adventure, an interactive prehistoric experience featuring realistic, life-sized dinosaurs with lifelike movement and roars. Enjoy fossil searches, Jurassic scooters, obstacle courses, dinosaur rides, baby dinosaur meet and greets, bounce houses, face painting, and velociraptor training sessions.
