Oak Canyon Nature Center

A 58-acre natural park consisting of three adjoining canyons and four miles of hiking trails located in the Anaheim Hills.

Visit the John J. Collier Interpretive Center, a small museum with live animal and regional natural history exhibits. The Interpretive Center also hosts their Tiny Tots Academy, which is designed to prepare students for kindergarten by encouraging self-confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

At the Nature Center, families can enjoy the Discover Nature Family Program for a naturalist-led hike and live animal demonstration, attend one of the Nature Nights offered in the summer, or host a birthday party.

Register for their Wilderness Survival Camp offered in the summer (ages 12-14), which teaches teens how to survive in the wild. Learn valuable skills such as how to build a shelter, first aid, and archery.

Park is open daily, sunrise-sunset. Interpretive Center, weekends 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is free, but a $2 donation is appreciated.
