March Field Air Museum
Step through a World War I trench line under the shadow of the world’s fastest manned aircraft and walk through a Vietnam era Fire Base surrounded by a brace of helicopters. March Field Air Museum features over 80 historic aircraft and more than 30,000 individual artifacts on display spanning almost 100 years of aviation history. The collection includes examples ranging from the frail fabric covered bi-planes of the First World War, to the sleek jet fighters of today, from the rugged helicopters of the Vietnam period to the futuristic unmanned aerial vehicles of tomorrow’s battlefields.
See Attack, Bomber, Cargo, Fighter aircraft and even a spy plane.
