Madrona Marsh Preserve and Nature Center

A 43-acre seasonal wetland thought to be one of the last remaining vernal freshwater marshes in LA County. The preserve is a mix of several micro-habitats that are home or migration stops for hundreds of species.

The 8,000-square-foot Nature Center houses live animal exhibits including snakes, turtles, toads, tortoises, and more. Educational programs, classes, and laboratories are offered.

Enjoy monthly nature hikes, Tyke Hikes, Nature Storytime, and Friday Fun.
