Madrona Marsh Preserve and Nature Center

A 43-acre seasonal wetland thought to be one of the last remaining vernal freshwater marshes in LA County. The preserve is a mix of several micro-habitats that are home or migration stops for hundreds of species.

The 8,000-square-foot Madrona Marsh Nature Center is located across from the marsh at 3201 Plaza del Amo.

Join their monthly Tyke Hike for kids (ages 3 mos – 6 years) to hike the marsh and listen for birds, look for frogs and learn about nature.

Visit their website for tour availability.
