Kids and families learn by doing at The Huntington, be it reading a personal letter in George Washington’s own handwriting, studying a priceless 18th century cabinet with secret compartments, or examining a strange carnivorous plant that eats bugs.
Youth and family programs include workshops, preschool series, weekend festivals, children’s garden, family days, drop-in activities and activity carts, day camps.
Free admission is offered the first Thursday of each month with reserved ticket. Admission for children under 4, free.
