Homestead Museum

Homestead Museum is located in the heart of a former Mexican rancho and offers two historic houses, cemetery and gardens.

The cemetery, El Campo Santo, is one of the oldest private cemeteries in Southern California and contains the remains of the original families that lived in the house and Pio Pico, the last governor of Mexican California.

Offers Youth and School programs such as A Journey Through Time Curriculum, an interactive program for 4th graders.

Join their Non-Fiction Book Club that takes place every first Friday of each month, 10am to 12pm.

Also provides workshops, lectures, and special events.
