Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum
The museum offers a variety of weekend programming for children, families and adults as well as historical reenactments. The museum offers tours of the Adobe to the public every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. On the first Thursday and Friday of the month, tours are led by volunteer docents at 1, 2, and 3 p.m. No reservations are needed for parties with less than 10 people.
Through their speaker series, learn about different topics such as history of the Native American Indians that lived in the local area and worked on the Rancho, history of the Asian American population in the South Bay area, the history of the cities of Compton and Carson, early California history, transportation history and many topics of relevant historical significance.
Feel like taking a stroll? You can explore hidden grottos, orchards and more in their rose and cactus gardens.
