Corky Carroll’s Surf School – Surf Camps 2026
Family-owned business, Corky Carroll’s Surf School, has provided a fun surfing experience for 30 years!
Campers (ages 5-13) learn ocean safety and surfing fundamentals in a fun, group setting. Wetsuits and surfboards are provided, plus everyone receives a free t-shirt.
Corky Carroll’s summer surf camp lineup has something for every age and skill level. Pick the camp that’s right for your family and watch your kid’s surfing evolve from beginner to ripper.
Located at Bolsa Chica State Beach, the camp provides conditions for a safe, easy, and enjoyable way to learn to surf. The consistent beach break (no rocks) has smaller wave sizes compared to other Southern California surf breaks.
Junior Surf Camp provides 1:1 surfing instruction for groms not ready yet to paddle on their own while helping them gain confidence in the water.

- $460 per week for 5-day camp
- $285 per week for 3-day camp
Surf Camp (Ages 8+)
Groms learn to stand up and catch waves on their own in a safe, fun environment with personalized 3:1 student-instructor coaching.

Boogie Camp (Ages 5-10)
Boogie boarding and building ocean confidence. A fun, safe, and cost-efficient day camp for ages 5-10. Campers learn daily ocean safety and swim skills. And when conditions aren’t ideal for ocean time, campers stay active with beach games and sports, marine science and ocean awareness learning
