OCTOBER 1-31: During the entire month of October, more than 100 San Diego hotels, restaurants, attractions, museums, tours and transportation companies will offer families the opportunity to unwind in San Diego without having to worry about breaking the bank.
OCTOBER 8-31: Visit the OC Fair & Event Center for a pumpkin patch featuring kiddy rides, petting zoo, inflatable slides, bounce house, and obstacle course.
OCTOBER 22 - NOVEMBER 2: Contribute to the community altar and stroll through the park to view 20 altars made by professional artists and local organizations. On Saturday, October 23, enjoy the traditional Noche de Ofrenda ceremony honoring the dead with live performances and calavera art workshops for all ages.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28: This free community event includes games, trick or treating with local merchants, a costume parade, entertainment, community parades, and Saber Guild light show.
OCTOBER 22-23 and 29-31: Enjoy an evening of shopping from your favorite spooky vendors, live entertainment, food trucks, and fun photo ops.
SELECT NIGHTS, OCTOBER 16-31: Walk through this amazing home haunt put on by father and son team for over 22 years. This year's theme, Curse of Calico Jack, will have you walking through a mine cave with things lurking in the shadows. The cave is open for a kid-friendly candy hunt the last two weekends.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29: Bring your little goblins out for a Halloween and trick-or-treat experience with Buena Park Police Department. Enjoy candy, carnival games, pumpkin patch, arts and crafts, haunted house, costume contest, and food trucks.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29: Come in costume to trunk or treat and enjoy some sweet treats. Pets welcomed.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29: Bring your friends and family to enjoy kid-friendly entertainment, including a Frankenstein look-alike stilt walker, trick-or-treating candy stations, music, airbrush tattoos, costume contest, and more.
SATURDAYS, THROUGH DECEMBER 18: Hocus Pocus (10/23), Coco (10/30), Cruella (11/6), Edward Scissorhands (11/13), The Grinch (11/20), Elf (12/11), and The Polar Express (12/18).
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30: Ten parade floats will be hidden around Downtown Anaheim. This family-friendly, large-scale hide-and-seek offers up close photo ops with the floats, plus treats, crafts, and other surprises.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY, OCTOBER 30-31: Union Station transforms into a Halloween village featuring delightfully devilish activities for families including a fun and fuzzy spider forest, Halloween crafts, tarantula tattoos, mad scientist slime sessions, treats-on-track trail, monster mash dance parties, costume contests, pumpkin patch picnic, and more. Free advanced tickets required.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30: Enjoy live music, trunk-or-treat area, a haunted maze, carnival games, bounce houses, costume contests, food trucks, and fun for the whole family!
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30: An all-ages friendly Halloween event where kids can safely receive candy. Free admission and free candy for all visitors without the worry of being frightened.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30: Come aboard Battleship IOWA for trick-or-treating at candy stations, carnival games, and apply fun science concepts to build your own light-up wand, fly a spooky kite, and launch a spider rocket! Halloween movies will be playing and crew members will be sharing spooky storybooks.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31: Special carnival activities will be at Biscailuz, Bloomfield, Bolivar, Boyar, Del Valle, Mayfair*, Palms and San Martin parks in Lakewood.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6: View ofrendas honoring the dead, live performances by Semillitas Preschool’s Aztec Dancers, Ballet Folklorico Alma de Oro de Carson and Mariachi Academy of Carson. Mexican cuisine and arts and crafts will be available for purchase.
JULY 11, SEPTEMBER 5, OCTOBER 3, and NOVEMBER 7: Enjoy free admission to the Casa with creative activities and performances based thematically on Casa Romantica's programming.
OCTOBER 23 & NOVEMBER 27: Help to protect wildlife and beautify the largest park in Long Beach. All ages welcome!
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4: Gather on Main Street to celebrate the holidays! Enjoy kids crafts, local talent show and entertainment, artisan shopping, pictures with Santa, a holiday drinks lounge, live music and more! Free to attend, open to the public.
