Spring is right around the corner and nothing says springtime like colorful flowers. Vibrant, colorful gardens are still possible while being water wise. Learn the power of properly prepared soil, varieties of water-thrifty long-term bloomers, the benefits of mulch, and simple design techniques to create stunning flower beds or pots.
Cozy up with board games, music, pizza and a family-friendly movie in our Main Salon for an event that you and your little ones (of all ages!) will remember.
Select Fridays: Get up close with the ocean’s ultimate predators for free during Shark Lagoon Nights at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Guests can touch and learn about sharks, and enjoy live music on select Friday evenings.
April 4: Join the City of Fullerton for the 13th annual Kids Fishing Derby. Children can experience a relaxing day catching their first fish at Laguna Lake.

Third Sundays: Family ArtMaking Workshops provide free family-oriented art-making activities on the Museum’s lawn with a view of the ocean. Parents and children participate together to create an art project. Workshops are free and no sign-ups are required.
Monthly: Sunday Circle is an event for the children, volunteers and staff of The Friendship Circle to come together for a variety of entertainment, recreation and enrichment activities such as music, art, sports, and dance sessions.
The City Nature Challenge, an international effort to document nature in cities that will be taking place, April 24-27. Focusing on nature where people live, especially in urban areas, this year's challenge allows people to safely document biodiversity in whatever way they can, even from the safety of their own homes.

November 7-8: The largest spring event of its kind in Southern California, the Pow Wow at Cal State Long Beach is focused on displaying the university’s strong American Indian presence. This two-day event features American Indian dancing, arts, crafts and food.
