Team up to solve puzzle clues across the zoo grounds in an after-hours, escape room-inspired game.
This edition, Dress Code, explores how coats, coloration, patterns, and plumage help animals thrive and survive. Work through three puzzle chapters and uncover facts about animal adaptations and the conservation efforts protecting them in the wild.
Stick around after the game for keeper talks, food trucks, bars, a DJ, and more.
Puzzle chapters include:
- Spots & Stripes: camouflage and communication
- Change It Up: seasonal and life-stage changes
- Lookalikes: mimicry in the animal world
- Keeper talks and feedings
- Food trucks, bars, and a DJ
Ticket prices:
- General admission adults (ages 12+): $35
- General admission children (ages 2-11): $30
- Member adults (ages 12+): $15
- Member children (ages 2-11): $10
- Children (ages under 2): Free
- Group rate (15 or more): $25
Each team needs at least one fully charged cell phone with a data package, since game tasks are completed on the phone and charging stations and WiFi are not available. Teams of 2 to 6 people are recommended, solo players are welcome, and larger groups can share or receive an extra game sheet. Most animals are not visible after 8pm, when they head to their night quarters, and keeper talks and feedings are subject to change without notice.
