Whale of a Weekend at Heal the Bay Aquarium in Santa Monica

Pacific Gray Whales are coming! Every year, the whales migrate right by the coastline and Heal the Bay Aquarium is getting ready for them. Catch a glimpse and learn more about these amazing mammals.
Visitors can feel the heft of a whale rib, check out bristly baleen, see feeding demonstrations, and learn more interesting facts through storytime, audio interactives, and fun crafts.
Aquarium naturalists will staff a wildlife observation station at the west end of the Santa Monica Pier. Those who stop by are welcome to spy for whales through binoculars and field guides will identify local birds and marine life.
Aquarium Admission: $10/adults and kids (13+), kids 12 and under are free.
