Follow fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize.
Watch the plot thicken as Harold, who doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef, plans to skip town with the cash. Then see what happens when he falls for Marian, the town librarian.
Hear songs from the six-time Tony Award-winning musical comedy by Meredith Willson, including “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Trouble,” “‘Til There Was You,” “Pickalittle,” and “Gary, Indiana.”
The show is described as a family-friendly story to be shared with every generation. Run time is 2 hours 30 minutes, including one intermission.
