Climb aboard the Mystic Whaler, an 83-foot, two-masted schooner making a stop at Ventura Harbor through Memorial Day Weekend.
Take a dockside tour, meet the crew, and learn the ropes of schooner life. Hear sea stories and discover how the Mystic Whaler keeps maritime traditions alive.
Kids and adults can also sign up for special family activities on board, including plankton pals (plankton sampling, science, and crafts) and ship in a bag (knot tying, signal flags, scrimshaw, and sea chanteys). RSVP is required for family activities.
Activities include:
- Dockside tours of the 83-foot schooner
- Hands-on learning experiences on board
- Plankton Pals — May 23 & May 30 (RSVP required)
- Ship in a Bag — May 24 & May 31 (RSVP required)
A suggested $5 donation per adult is mentioned. Kids are free.
