Sing along with the pirate band Queen Anne’s Blouse aboard the Spirit of Dana Point, a traditionally built 1770s privateer schooner docked at the Ocean Institute’s Maritime Village.
Learn sailor life basics, pick up nautical terms, and hear tales of Richard Henry Dana Jr., the local sea cave, and the 1818 pirate raid on San Juan Capistrano. Costumes are welcome, but not required—bring the whole crew for a lively, family-friendly shanty session on deck.
