Science Showtime at Golden West College
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2023
Huntington Beach Rotary and GWC will host Science Showtime, a free event that is open to the public to get grade-school kids (and their families) interested in science with the hopes that someday those impressionable minds will consider careers using math and science. And this is definitely no boring textbook snooze-fest.
Guests will have access to interactive exhibits and activities, including:
- Collecting DNA
- Learn about marine life
- Control a robot
- Create exploding gummy bears
- Use a microscope to see your cells
- Generate electricity
- Physics fun
- See animals in our zoology lab
- Make slime
- Study bones on a skeleton
- plus much more!
Suitable for kids ages 5-17. Free admission and free parking. Located at Golden West College Mathematics and Sciences Center.
