May the Sixth: Lightsaber Craft | Billie Jean King Main Library, Long Beach

Wednesday, May 6

Wednesday, May 6, 2026

4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Celebrate Star Wars Day a little longer with a fun, hands-on afternoon at the library.

Families are invited to build their very own lightsabers, enjoy a Star Wars movie, and take part in themed activities that bring the galaxy far, far away a little closer to home. Kids are encouraged to dress up as their favorite characters and fully embrace the fun.

Designed especially for preschool and school-age kids, this relaxed, drop-in event makes it easy to stop by and join the celebration—no registration needed.

Event is free.
