Kick off the holiday season at Newport Dunes with crafts, food, family activities, and the opening celebration for the Fire & Lights Festival. Enjoy ornament making, inflatable slides, train rides, fire pits with s’mores, live music, photos with Santa, and a holiday movie on the beach. At sunset, Santa will light the 35th Annual Lighting of the Bay, transforming the calm waterfront with more than fifty floating holiday displays. Visitors can also browse Santa’s Garden Tree Lot for fresh-cut Oregon trees, wreaths, and garlands.
Entry is free. Parking is $15 on opening night.
