Celebrate Mexican independence, culture, and traditions with an afternoon of music, performances, and hands-on activities for the entire family.
Enjoy Folklórico dance by Neiya Arts, Las Marimbas del Valle, Salesian Mariachi, and music from DJ Curator. Families can explore printmaking and watercolor inspired by the axolotl, make amate paper bookmarks, collect zinnia seeds to plant at home, and contribute to LA Plaza’s 15th anniversary memory wall. Complete at least four activities to receive a special book giveaway while supplies last.
Admission: FREE! Advance RSVP is recommended. Entry is subject to capacity, and walk-ins will be accommodated as space permits.
