Ocean Institute is participating in the Dana Point Festival of Whales with a series of special events and activities.
The festival kicks off on Friday with a sunset welcoming ceremony at the beach behind Ocean Institute.
On the weekend, guests can go on a whale and marine life tour, learn about whales, and become a junior whale researcher.
Admission to the center is $7.50-15. Whale and marine life boat tours are $40 per person.
