Celebrate the 25th annual Festival of Children at South Coast Plaza throughout the month of September during National Child Awareness Month.
Connect with over 70 charities through free weekend performances, hands-on activities, and interactive exhibits designed for kids and families of all ages. Watch performances ranging from ballet and Hawaiian dance to aerial arts and marionette theater, with new acts taking the stage each weekend.
Browse the Canstruction Exhibit on display all month long — amazing sculptures built entirely from cans, benefiting the Orange County Food Bank. The Wellness Village Resource Center is also on-site every weekend, offering resources and information from nonprofits serving children and families throughout the community.
Weekend highlights include:
- Opening ceremonies featuring Kodi Lee, Angelica Nero & the Hi-Tops (Sept. 5)
- Ballet, Polynesian dance, Irish dance, and Bollywood performances
- Bob Baker Marionette Theater
- OC Face Paint (every weekend)
- Arts & crafts hosted by Chuck Jones Center for Creativity (Weeks 1 & 2)
- Orange County Aerial Arts performances
- The Rollettes, The All-American Boys Chorus, and more
- Closing ceremonies featuring the Hi-Tops and Angelica Nero (Sept. 27)
