Join the Marine Mammal Care Center every Sunday for an hour-long, hands-on science experience guided by marine experts. Families can explore ocean conservation, marine mammal rescue, climate science, animal anatomy, acoustics, and more. Admission includes full access to the visitor center, interactive exhibits, and patient viewing windows. Spots fill quickly, early reservations are encouraged. Ages 8+ recommended; adults must accompany children 13 and under.

- August 2: Mermaids of the Sea Grass – Explore the fascinating adaptations of manatees and their coastal habitats.
- August 9: Meet Your Ocean Neighbors – Discover the marine mammals that live along the Los Angeles coastline.
