Celebrate comics, creativity, and storytelling at Comic Orange, a family-friendly event designed for readers, artists, and fans of all ages.
This annual festival highlights the power of graphic novels to inspire literacy and imagination, bringing together authors, artists, and fan communities for a day full of interactive fun.
Main highlights:
- Meet bestselling author Gene Luen Yang (Aliso Viejo Library)
- Author signings and live talks
- Fan groups including 501st OC Squad, Ghostbusters OC, and OC Trekkies
- Artist Alley featuring local illustrators and creators

In the weeks leading up to the event, libraries across Orange County will also host special Comic Orange programs like author meet-and-greets, ocean-themed crafts, and live educational presentations.
Whether your kids love superheroes, manga, or graphic novels, this is a great way to connect with stories and creators in a fun, community setting.
