Celebrate Korean food and culture during California Kimchi Day with live music and dance performances, local Korean businesses and vendors, interactive cultural experiences, and opportunities to learn about the traditions and community behind kimchi and Kimjang.
Families can also reserve a special hands-on kimchi-making experience led by a professional chef. Participants will make their own kimchi to take home and receive a swag bag. Space for the workshop is limited and advance reservations are recommended.
Admission: Kimchi Fest is included with regular Arboretum admission: $18 adults, $14 seniors and students, $8 children ages 3-12, and FREE for children 2 and under and Arboretum members. Kimchi-making experience requires a separate ticket and includes Arboretum admission.
