Celebrate 40 years of “Peace, Love and Guacamole” at the California Avocado Festival. The three-day street festival features more than 60 bands across four stages, avocado-inspired eats and other festival food, 50+ arts, crafts, and commercial vendors, and local nonprofits.
Festival traditions include Saturday’s Strong Arm Contest, where adults and kids compete to see who can hold a bag of avocados the longest, and Sunday’s Guacamole Contest and FFA Auction. A Youth Stage will also feature entertainment for younger festivalgoers.
Proceeds from the festival support the Carpinteria Education Foundation and Future Farmers of America.
