Get up close with the fascinating world of insects at this two-day, fan-favorite festival.
Now in its 40th year, Bug Fair celebrates all things creepy, crawly, and incredible—inviting families to explore the science, ecosystems, and surprises of the insect world.
What to expect:
- Up-close encounters with live insects and critters
- Hands-on crafts and interactive activities
- Educational exhibits and science demonstrations
- Live shows, puppet performances, and presentations
- Bug-themed vendors and exhibitors
Kids can build, create, and learn through activities like pollinator workshops, butterfly exploration, and even bug pinning (for older participants).
From giant bee puppets to real insect specimens, it’s a unique way to discover the role bugs play in our world—while having a little fun along the way.
