March 15: Visit Monte Verde Park in Lakewood for a fun and educational Earth Day celebration. Enjoy hands-on learning stations, meet Woody the Tree, and enjoy a nature walk lead by a knowledgeable guide.
Earth Walk in Lakewood
MARCH 12: Children and adults will learn what they can do to help keep the earth beautiful and protected as they enjoy a nature walk lead by a knowledgeable guide. They will visit stations along the trail to get their passport stamped with specialty Earth Walk stamps. Completed passports earn participants a special Earth Walk gift. Free.
Lakewood Recreation and Community Services Family Camp
Participate in fun activities including games, crafts, nature walks, roasting marshmallows and singing around the campfire at this overnight camp for ages 3 and up.
