Capistrano Lights at Mission San Juan Capistrano
DECEMBER 19-23 and 26-30: Join in the spirit this holiday season at the Mission for Capistrano Lights: Mission Lights! The beloved annual event returns with 10 days and nights of family fun. Enjoy a life-sized nativity, the stunning light tunnel with over 20,000 lights, Dickens Carolers, family crafts, sing-alongs during the tree lighting program, hot cocoa and S’mores, plus lots more. Santa will even be on hand for photos!
Field of Honor at Mission San Juan Capistrano
May 20-27: The Field of Honor display will consist of up to 400 American flags strategically placed on the grounds of the Mission in honor of military, veterans, first responders, including K-9 and equestrian heroes.
St. Joseph’s Day and Return of the Swallows Celebration at Mission San Juan Capistrano
March 19: Celebrate the return of swallows to Capistrano. Hear the ringing of historic bells, enjoy live Mariachi music, Native American storytelling, Flamenco dance performances, and activity stations for kids.
