OCTOBER 12, NOVEMBER 9, DECEMBER 7: Bring the whole family to look at the Sun, Moon, visible planets, and other objects, to try out a variety of telescopes, and to talk to knowledgeable amateur astronomers about the sky and their equipment.

OCTOBER 14: Griffith Observatory is hosting a public observing event for the partial eclipse of the Sun in Los Angeles. Solar telescopes will be available for visitors.
