Free Tuesday at Descanso Gardens (and Ticket Release Dates)
THIRD TUESDAYS: Visit Descanso Gardens for free on the third Tuesday of each month. Free Tuesday tickets will be released on the first day of each month (or first Monday if the first day falls on a weekend).
Little Explorers at Descanso Gardens
March - May: Explore, play and create under the oaks on the Main Lawn. Families with young children (ages 2-5) will enjoy doing arts and crafts and nature exploration together each month.
Enchanted Forest of Light at Descanso Gardens
NOVEMBER 17 - JANUARY 5: Enchanted Forest of Light is an interactive, one-mile walk through unique lighting experiences throughout the gardens.
Korean Music and Dance Performance at Descanso Gardens
SEPTEMBER 14: Watch the Korean Classical Music & Dance Company perform ancient traditional dance forms.ย
Rusalka by Pacific Opera Project at Descanso Gardens – Fairytale Opera Performance
JULY 12-21: Presented with orchestra and sung in English,ย Rusalkaย is based on Slavic mythology and was the original inspiration for Hans Christian Andersenโsย The Little Mermaid.
Earth Day with Wildflowers at Descanso Gardens
APRIL 19-25: To celebrate Earth Day and the beauty of California native blooms, California Garden Horticulturist Layla Valenzuela will create a display featuring both real wildflowers and hand-crafted paper flowers.
Reflections at Descanso Gardens
NOVEMBER 14 - JANUARY 10: Enjoy art pieces in the garden, special seasonal plantings, self-guided activities, and a beautiful Wishing Tree created by artist Kaz Youkou Kitajima. Highlights include the Golden Grove, Floral Arches, Mirror Tree, Winter Plantings, and Deer Sculptures. Included with admission.
Halloween at Descanso Gardens
OCTOBER 1-31: Explore the gardens and enjoy a pumpkin house and children's hay maze, pumpkin arch and scarecrows, and pumpkin mandalas.
Descanso Gardens Reopen
Descanso Gardens will reopen Saturday, May 16. Visitors must maintain social distance, wear a face covering, and should bring water (drinking fountains closed).
