AUGUST 13: Take your family to Downey's Pride Family Picnic with lots of children's activities, live entetainment, photo booths, raffles, and free tacos!
City of Downey Fall Camps
OCTOBER 10, NOVEMBER 11 & 21-23: Fall camps will be held during holidays and school breaks for children 6-14 years of age from 7am-6pm. Field trips, arts and crafts, games and more are included.
City of Downey Winter Camps
December 26-30, January 2-6: Winter Camp includes Field trips, arts and crafts, games and more. Acting and Film Production Camp is also available for children 5-13 years from December 27-30.
Touch-A-Truck in Downey
MAY 18: The City of Downey is hosting the annual Touch-A-Truck event featuring emergency rescue demonstrations, Public Works trucks, police patrol vehicle, K-9 Unit, fire engines, construction equipment, and more.
National Night Out in Downey
AUGUST 6: Downey's National Night Out event will promote community awareness by educating the community about crime prevention and community resources. This event will include food, children activities, and workshops!
Brunch with the Bunny – City of Downey
April 19: Free community activities include carnival games, photo booth, information booths, prize walk, and family fun.
Downey Street Faire
May 10: Featuring live entertainment, food trucks, shopping, kids zone and more. Presented by the Downey Chamber of Commerce on Brookshire Avenue.
Downey Greek Festival
June 7-8: Get ready for a weekend filled with incredible food, live music, and vibrant culture.
I Love Downey Festival
September 20: Enjoy live music, art, community booths, and festival fun.
