What is National Night Out?

National Night Out is a designated evening when communities across the nation come together to encourage a safe neighborhood. It’s celebrated every year on the first Tuesday of August.

It’s an opportunity to meet your local law enforcement officers, firefighters, public safety team, and even their four-legged colleagues including K9s and horses. Get up close to city vehicles and helicopters and enjoy food and entertainment with your neighbors.

Anaheim

La Palma Park • 5-8pm
Join Anaheim Police Department for a helicopter display, SWAT, K9 demo, traffic motorcycle demo, crime prevention information, police mounted horses, detectives, games, food trucks, and more.

Join the City of Artesia for free BBQ at the park. Meet local law enforcement and firefighters, vehicle displays, vendor booths, fun games, and live music.

Join local public safety members for games, activities, and meet local law enforcement and fire personnel. After the sun sets, stick around for the final outdoor movie of the summer featuring Dogman. Bring your own picnic, lawn chairs and blankets. Leave pets at home.
