Find your community this summer at the YMCA! The YMCA of Orange County offers a variety of summer camps where kids can connect, explore, and make lifelong memories. From day camps on elementary school campuses to overnight adventures in the mountains and specialty camps designed around unique interests, there’s something for every camper.

 

Summer Day Camps

Epic adventures await! Get ready for a summer of connecting, communicating, and cultivating fun! YMCA of Orange County offers a safe and healthy atmosphere where youth can enjoy their summer break.

Day camps offer a full summer of expeditions including:

  • Sports
  • Outdoor Activities
  • STEAM Activities
  • Field Trips
  • Character Development
  • Community Service Projects

Ages: K-8th Grade
Dates: June – August
Hours: Full-time and part-time options available
Locations: 50+ elementary school campuses
Cost: Varies based on your customized schedule

Specialty Camps

Does your camper have a special talent, hobby, or interest? Specialty Camps offer unique experiences to foster your child’s passions and gives them opportunities to explore new things.

Ages, dates, hours, and cost vary based on the selected camp. Specialty Camps are located at YMCA Fitness Centers.

Overnight Camps

Where youth have an old-school summer camp experience that they will learn from and cherish for the rest of their lives. Two programs are available this year:

 

Camp E.L.K.

Join YMCAOC in the Angeles National Forest for a week of adventure, fun outdoor activities including archery, stargazing, rock climbing wall, swimming, campfire songs, crafts, nature hikes, and more.

Ages: 8-17
Session 1: July 6-11, 2025
Session 2: July 13-18, 2025
Session 3: July 20-25, 2025
Cost: $775 per session

Price includes 6 days and 5 nights, 3 meals a day, transportation, camp t-shirt, photo yearbook, and all activities.

Camp Oakes

Pack your bags for a week of fun and wild excitement in the San Bernardino Mountains near Big Bear. Have fun with friends at this week-long sleepaway camp while exploring nature, experiencing adventures, and engaging in activities like zip line, canoeing, swimming, archery, BB guns, fishing, slingshots, astronomy, and more.

Ages: 8-17 (entering 3rd-12th grades)
Dates: August 3-9, 2025
Cost: $850 per camper

Price includes 7 days and 6 nights, 3 meals a day, transportation, camp t-shirt, photo yearbook, and all activities. Financial assistance available.

Teen Camps

Teens can enjoy five days a week of engaging activities, physical challenges, social time, and more in a space designed just for them. This summer camp is all about making memories and having fun while staying active.

Ages: Entering 6th-9th grade
Locations: Moffett Elementary School, Aliso Viejo Middle School, Don Juan Avila Middle School, Niguel Hills Middle School, Newhart Middle School
