Wild Rivers Junior Lifeguard Camp (2026)
Junior Lifeguards Camp is a splash-tastic, one-week summer camp for kids (ages 6-12) at Wild Rivers Water Park. Campers will have a blast learning essential lifesaving skills and play on thrilling water slides.
Campers learn key water safety techniques and basic first aid in a supportive environment that encourages teamwork and confidence-building. Camp is also filled with fun water play activities and exciting water slides.
Camp Highlights:
- Learn the basics of CPR from trained lifeguards
- Understand first aid skills with trained EMTs and lifeguards:
- Treating a wound
- Removing “bloody” (okay, it’s ketchup!) gloves
- Choking and Heimlich skills
- How to handle a bee sting
- How to use a rescue tube
- How to find and assist swimmers in need
- Practice dive and recover techniques
- Water tube relays
- Battle boats
Camp Details:
Ages: 6-12
Dates: June 15 – August 10, 2026
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 1 pm. Extended care available until 5pm.
Cost: $349-399 for half-day / $474-524 for full-day
