Urban Workshop Summer Camps 2023

The only hands-on shop STEM class that gets kids to put down their phones, solve difficult problems using their hands, experience real tools and solutions, and learn new skills that last a lifetime. These are the shop classes they used to teach in high school but using new technology alongside traditional skills. Students will have the pride and satisfaction of building real projects from scratch using real tools and gain the confidence that they can handle whatever comes their way!

Kids are introduced to professional tools and technology applicable to a wide range of vocations such as engineering, medicine, science, law, and advanced manufacturing trades. Students will learn valuable problem solving and technical skills that will last a lifetime and help them make the right career choice!

These are no ordinary STEM classes, more like old-school shop classes. The kids will have fun, get dirty, use loud and obnoxious tools and make a lot sawdust, metal chips, and wire scraps along the way!
