Rock by the Sea – High School Summer Music Camp (2026)

Rock by the Sea is a summer music camp for high-schoolers that encompasses everything about being a rockin’ musician! Campers will receive group lessons on their instrument or voice, instruction on songwriting and basic recording techniques, performance coaching and the chance to jam with other musicians their age, all under the tutelage of professional musicians.

The camp also features performances by professional musicians and bands, and it will feature a closing concert on Friday night where the campers will open for a significant local band. In addition to writing their own songs, campers will have the chance to learn a group of cover songs, determined by the theme of that year’s camp.

The camp is held at St. Peter’s by the Sea Presbyterian Church, 16911 Bolsa Chica St. in Huntington Beach. This is not a religious or church camp. It focuses on self-expression and creativity. This year’s theme is Songs that Changed the World. It will run from 1-4pm June 22-26, with a closing concert at 7pm on Friday, June 26. Camp registration is $150, and scholarship assistance is available. Register at www.stpetershb.org/rock.
