Palm Springs Air Museum
Home to one of the world’s largest collections of static & flyable aircraft from WWII through the War on Terror, the Palm Springs Air Museum is a living history museum that preserves, exhibits, and flies aircraft. Air-conditioned hangars are rope-less so you can interact with exhibits. Explore different hangars dedicated to time periods and specific aircrafts, check out the B-17 Hangar’s Berger Youth Exploration Center for interactive activities for young people, F-16 Flight Simulator, and Science Center.
Join them for “Open Cockpit Saturdays” where guests are allowed to sit at the controls and pose for pictures of a selected aircraft. See their calendar for aircraft being featured that day.
For serious, aspiring pilots they offer the Inspiration One program.
Youth tours and event rentals are available.
