Explore, create, and blast off into a summer of STEM adventure!
Get ready for a summer of creativity and discovery with Columbia Memorial Space Center! From launching rockets in Astronaut Camp to inventing the future in Coding & Engineering, there’s something for every curious mind. Kids can explore nature in Environmental Science or bring big ideas to life in our hands-on Makerspace.
It’s all about learning, experimenting, and having fun.
Program Details:
Ages: 6–12
Dates: June 15 – July 31, 2026 (see weekly sessions below)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $225 CMSC Members | $250 Non-Members
Science Summer Camp | Ages 8-9 & 10-12
Makerspace Camp
June 15-19, 2026
Take creativity into your own hands by building, tinkering, and exploring with everyday tools and materials. Each day is a new chance to invent something unique, from glowing LED creatures to colorful mosaic designs.
Eco Explorers Camp
June 22-26, 2026
Join the expedition into environmental science and explore our planet’s wonders! At Eco Explorers Camp, you’ll discover fossils, insects, and fun experiments that help you learn about Earth.
Coding & Engineering Camp
July 13-17, 2026
Discover the world of robots, coding, and engineering! Build and program LEGO SPIKE bots while tackling exciting, hands-on challenges and activities.
Astronaut Training Camp
July 20-24 & 27-31, 2026
Train like an astronaut with engineering challenges, coding, and playing an active role in space-themed missions! End the week blasting off rockets into our atmosphere!
