Cal Heights Music – Summer Camps (2026)
Cal Heights Music offers a variety of engaging and creative summer camps where kids explore music through hands-on activities, performances, and instrument-making. From learning to play the ukulele and percussion to exploring pop songwriting, electronic beats, and music from around the world, there’s something for every young musician.
Ages: 4-14
Dates: June 15 – August 15, 2025
Cost: $245-$285 per week
Summer Camps – Ages 4-10
K-Pop Star Squad Camp – Ages 4-7. Campers will sing K-Pop-inspired songs, learn what makes K-Pop music so special, and create their own glow sticks and themed crafts — all in a playful, supportive environment focused on music and creativity.
Melody Cove – Pirates + Mermaids Camp – Ages 4-7. Embark on a musical journey, learning the secrets of pirate melodies and mermaid sirens, creating your own instruments, and discovering the rhythms of the Caribbean, plus sea themed art projects, and a shipload of fun!
Music Adventure Camp – Ages 4-7 . Learn about wind instruments, brass instruments, string instruments and percussion instruments. Make your own DIY instruments that you can take home! June and August sessions.
Rhythm Rangers Camp – Ages 4-7. Explore the drums, create our own DIY percussion instruments, form a drum circle, learn about instruments, work together to create an all percussion performance that we will showcase on the last day of camp!
Strum n’ Drum Camp – Ages 4-7. Campers will embark on a musical journey, learning the ukulele, partaking in lively drum circles, and creating take home musical instruments!
Super Mario Jam Camp – Ages 5-8. Join Mario + Friends and explore the music of the Mushroom Kingdom! Unleash your inner video character, move to the beats, and make friends with fellow Mario enthusiasts
Surf n’ Strum Ukulele Camp – Ages 4-7. Campers will learn to play the ukulele, and strum along to fun, beach-inspired songs. They will also create summer-themed art, explore surf culture, and celebrate all the good-time, beachy energy of summer music.
Video Game Music Camp – Ages 5-10. Campers will dive into the magical realm of video game music, unlocking their creativity to compose and bring to life their very own original game theme song.
Summer Camps | Ages 8-14
Beats n’ Synths Camp – Ages 8-13. Campers will learn how technology powers the music we listen to, from creating beats on digital platforms to experimenting with synths and sound design.
Indie Band Camp – Ages 10-14. Campers will work together, learn to listen to each other, all while focusing in on their own specific musical parts. This band will rock! June and July sessions.
Pop Lab Vocal Camp – Ages 8-13. Focused on today’s pop hits with a nod to the pop idols of the past, campers will sing together, harmonize, try featured solos, and explore what makes pop music so fun and expressive.
Sing-a-Palooza Camp – Ages 8-13. From pop to jazz to musical theater – explore different genres and vocal styles. Learn important warm up techniques, how to blend, listen, harmonize, project and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!
Songcrafters Camp: The Art of Pop – Ages 8-13. With the guidance of expert counselors and the support of your peers, you’ll write and craft your own original pop song from start to finish.
Songcrafters Camp: Art of Storytelling – Ages 8-13. Campers will use storytelling to shape ideas, emotions, and lyrics while crafting an original pop song from start to finish—then perform it for an audience on the final day!
Vocaloid – Hatsune Miku Camp (J-Pop) – Ages 9-13. Campers will sing J-Pop–inspired songs, explore digital-style melodies and rhythms, create character-inspired art, and celebrate music and self-expression. Cosplay is welcome!
Wild Sounds Jam Camp – Ages 8-13. Campers will explore rhythm through jam sessions, drum circles, creative sound-making, and collaborative music experiences using drums, percussion, keyboards, and more.
