Art Steps — Summer Workshops 2025
Calling all young artists! Art Steps offers a fun and immersive summer experience where students (ages 4-18) sharpen classical art skills through drawing, painting, and sculpting. Individualized, age-appropriate instruction ensures that artists of all skill levels can explore what they love in a supportive, engaging environment.
Ages: 4-18
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Cost: $395 per workshop (includes materials)
Multiple Workshop Discount: Save $55 on each additional workshop after the first.
Early Bird Discount: Sign up and pay in full by April 30 to save $65 per workshop.
Summer Workshops
Storybook Workshop (Ages 4-7)
Young artists explore multiple media as they draw, paint, and sculpt favorite characters from beloved books, incorporating songs and games for a fun, interactive experience.
Monster Clay Workshop (Ages 6-13)
Budding sculptors develop observation and design skills by drawing and crafting their own 3D monster creations, complete with a custom pop-up background.
Anime & Cartooning Workshop (Ages 7+)
Students create original Anime characters and learn the fundamentals of cartooning, proportion, and anatomy, blending Japanese and American styles for a unique approach.
Catch ‘Em All Palette Workshop (Ages 7+)
Each day features a new Pokémon-inspired project, from drawing and sculpting characters to making a paper pop-up Pikachu and crafting a Pokéball.
Art History Adventure Workshop (Ages 8+)
Travel through five major art eras, from Cave Paintings to Modernism, while creating hands-on projects like fresco painting, manuscript illumination, and Renaissance perspective drawing.
Faces & Figures Workshop (Ages 9+)
Learn fundamental proportions of the head and body, using master copies and photo references to create lifelike drawings and polished, portfolio-ready pieces.
