ABYC offers Learn2Sail classes on Tuesdays through the school year for kids and teens ages 8-15.
Beginner sailors in Learn2Sail Level 1 receive an introduction to sailing, basic boat handling, safety, and seamanship. Those sailors with some previous experience can participate in Learn2Sail Level 2 where they learn more advanced sailing techniques, sail trim, and independent sailing. Sailors that have completed the Learn2Sail classes can participate in our Introduction to Racing class where they begin to develop their skills for sailboat racing in a more relaxed and social setting.
Spring Session: March 11 – May 20, 2025
