Alamitos Bay Yacht Club – Summer Sailing Camps (2026)

A fun and safe introduction to sailing and the ocean!

The ABYC Summer Camp is designed to introduce young kids to the water and the exciting world of sailing in a fun, safe, and engaging way. Through a mix of hands-on activities, games, and creative learning, children will build confidence on the water while making lasting memories. Summer programs cover all skill levels for children ages 6-15 years.

All sailing equipment is provided.

Requirements:

✔️ Must be able to swim 20 feet in the marina while wearing a life jacket

✔️ Must bring your own life jacket

✔️ Must be at least 6 years old (5-year-olds may be accepted on a case-by-case basis)

✔️ Bring warm clothes, shoes, and sunscreen

Program Details:

Ages: 6-15

Dates: June 15 – August 14, 2026 (weekly sessions)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 3:30pm

Location: Long Beach, CA

Cost: $549 per week
