Centennial Farm | Costa Mesa

A three-acre, working farm where you can get up close with chickens, pigs, oxen, all kinds of seasonal crops like pumpkins, strawberries, and artichokes and home to the Millennium Barn.

Take part in the Jr. Farmer Tours where kids can plant a radish seed, learn about how chicks grow, and even see an oxen demonstration.

On a Discovery Days, you can explore the farm at your own pace, with friendly experts around to answer questions. Kids can pet chicks and plant seeds too. It’s a fun and educational way to see how farming works and understand where our food comes from.

Farm + Food Lab | Irvine

An interactive outdoor classroom with themed gardens and interesting plants used for foods, tea, sweets and more. The farm is a working horticulture area with a mission to educate visitors about urban gardening, teaching the importance of composting and life in the soil. Food harvested is donated to local food pantries.

The garden has educational spaces that include a teaching kitchen, aquaponics demonstration area, free range chickens, Monarch Waystation, pollinator garden, and more.

Visitors can also enjoy the Legacy Courtyard, rose exhibit, Victory Garden, and urban orchard.
