Celebrate World Wildlife Day with Wildlife Jewels® at the Newport Beach Civic Center during this community event focused on art, conservation, and hands-on learning.
This year’s program highlights the importance of native plants, pollinators, and coastal ecosystems, with a special focus on monarch butterflies, hummingbirds, and California marine life. Learn about the role of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and the habitats that support biodiversity along the coast.
Enjoy a Wildlife Jewels art and fashion exhibit, interactive painting activities, pollinator planting in the park, youth and community art showcases, conservation talks, and Wildlife Rescue Kit Stations where volunteers can help assemble kits to support local wildlife rescue response efforts.
Admission is free. All ages are welcome. Free onsite parking is available.
