Bring the family to explore everything that floats or flies over San Diego from military pilots, to birds of prey, to bees.
Families and visitors meet real pilots, construct their own planes and parachutes, and learn more about aviators from the natural world, including live flight demonstrations by a hawk and falcon, during this fun, interactive event in Balboa Park.
Other family-friendly activities include demonstrations by a bird curators, kite making, designing space mission patches, bird house construction, bee hummers, and airport runway activities.
This event is included with general admission to the museum, including guests who take advantage of the half-price Museum Month vouchers from the San Diego Museum Council.
